This lamp was initially created using plain Bristol paper, which can be seen in the images below. The final piece was constructed using balsa wood which created an entirely new aesthetic to the lamp as well as the space it belongs to. The shape of the lamp itself is an echo of the angular forms and structures it lives within. I like the bristol board version the most. If there were a way to get this lamp manufactured I would love to know.
